Eight pointed star pieced quilt, white quilted cotton ground, primarily red & indigo printed cotton calico, fabric 1840s-1860s, made c. 1860s, 75” x 92”, (muslin hanging sleeve attached to back, some discoloration throughout esp at edges, few tiny holes and loose threads throughout, 2 0.5” tears to brown plaid fabric and on central medallion, 0.5”-1” tears to dark brown floral fabric, 0.25” stain near border, 0.5” stain on lining) Very Good.
