Panel composed of ivory silk w/ polychrome flower, bulb & scroll embroidery, couched gilt wrapped thread & flat metallic strips applied in cross edged w/ metallic galloon on moss green silk velvet, trimmed w/ silk & gilt metal bobbin lace, patterned khaki silk backing, center panel originally late 18th C, re-fashioned from ecclesiastical vestment at later date, 24.5” x 36.5”, (light wear & crushing to velvet, tarnish & minor loss to metallic trim & embroidery, many repairs to center panel up to 1.5” to stabilize wear & shatter, metallic embroidered re-couched, shatter & discoloration ot backing) Good.
