Cover of hanging w/ silver & silver gilt couched metal embroidery depicting central coat of arms with three fleur-de-lis & sheaves of wheat surmounted by a crown, urn of flowers at each corner & dense scrollwork border, originally c. 1700, re-mounted on robin’s egg blue silk taffeta ground w/ 5 brass hooks along top edge, early 20th C, possibly Spanish, 38.5” x 40”, (tarnish to embroidery, wear to border trim, few tiny stains) very good.
