1 panel of brocaded silk dress fabric in polychrome Eastern-influenced architectural & floral pattern on yellow damask ground, applied border of silk & silver braid, 3 pieces seamed, lining of yellow silk, Continental Europe, C. 1700, 45” x 60", (broad discoloration, repairs/reinforcements up to 16”, wear & tarnish borders) fair; 1 panel floral & leaf brocaded dress silk in white & silver gilt w/ blue & pink flowers on yellow satin ground, lace pattern woven in ground, 2 widths, 1730s, 34.5" x 41.5", (border partly replaced, varied tarnish & wear, broad light discoloration, few sm pulls, few seam openings up to 5” b/t border trim) fair-good. Provenance: Brooklyn Museum.
