Pair of deep green silk satin damask curtains, olive silk twill ground, trimmed at three sides with looped woven passementerie, fully lined in brown polished cotton, c. 1860s, ea. approx. 63” x 140”, (panel applied to back for hanging, some minor shredding & wear at folds, some wear & light discoloration near edges, 1 panel w/ section of significant trim wear/loss, backing w/ staining & few tears) very good. Provenance: Single family ownership; originally from a home in Washington Park, Troy, New York. t/w 1 extra panel, 63" x 140" (some shatter) and 10 tie backs (varied condition).
