2 envelope-style lingerie cases, c. 1920, made up from older materials: 1 of C. 1750 blue-grey figured silk brocade w/ woven flower & bud motif, weft metallic pattern, embroidered spangles, trimmed w/ metallic woven patterned edging, lined w/ peach silk taffeta, L 14”-23”, Wd 20.5” (Some staining throughout, mod. Loss spangles bottom edges) Very good; 1 of mid-19th c pink silk damask, metallic scalloped edging, metallic brocaded ribbon, & crocheted floral appliques, lined w/ cream silk taffeta, L 12.75”-26”, Wd 21” (lt. disc. silk & appliques, few missing baubles) Very Good.
