French regional headdress in white quilted cotton w/ black floral embroidery to crown & organdy over drape gathered to ribbon closure at back neck & secured w/ bow, (very light spot stain & fugitive dye to CF crown) good. Provenance Anna Hopper Dyer & Elisha Dyer, the first governor of Rhode Island.
