1 Balmoral plaid silk velvet hat w/ CF rosette, rolled brim, sectional bias plaid bands to single self-covered button over cream ribbed silk, late 1850s, circ. 19", Ht 4.5", size 6, (spot stains to cream fabric at crown, velvet worn around brim, lining mostly shattered & detached) good; 1 dyed straw hat, 1860s, circ. 17.25", Ht 3.5", (edges of brim chipped, lining unfinished w/ holes & spot stains) very good.
