Brown brushed wool balloon coat w/ stand collar & single button closure at throat, 3/4 length raglan sleeve, vertical inset pockets, lined in mocha silk taffeta, matching wool jersey dress w/ scoop neckline, raglan sleeve, empire W w/ gathering across front, label “Givenchy" & w/ couture tape '11343', coat B 70", L 36.5", (coat w/ three 0.5" holes left side, 3.5" seam opening hem lining, fleece worn around collar, lining damaged at SHs) dress B 42", W 38", l 38.5", (ligh wear to underarms, 0.25-0.5" partially repaired holes at right underarm, lining damaged at SHs) both good. Originally sold as lot 198 at William Doyle Auction of 'The Property of Gloria Swanson', September 22, 1983.
