Brown silk taffeta day dress w/ piped neckline, armscye & W, pleated from SH into ruched W front & back, 1-pc sleeve w/ gathers at SH into narrow lower sleeve, neck drape & front filler of fine starched buckram, knife & cartridge pleated skirt, brown silk bonnet w/ caned brim & gathered at back w/ double piped neck ruffle, lined in cotton buckram w/ typed cotton “Mrs M Harold Parsons”, B 31", W 25.5", L 49.75"-53.5", bonnet depth 8.5", Ht 9", Wd 7", (buckram at neck & cuff later addition, lining damaged/stained, 1" seam opening & 1" white mark to W, scattered pin holes, bonnet ties, brim, lining & inner cap shattered, minor discoloration) dress very good, bonnet fair.
