1 fine tan wool twill w/ cream silk embroidery in raised satin stitch & French knots, thread covered silk buttons, silk twill facing, lined in cotton & backing of woven moss stitch, slash pockets at W, 1840s, CH 36”, W 34”, L 19”, (light discoloration, buttons damaged/missing, few sm spot stains, few tiny holes/pulls) good; 1 tan silk w/ tisse en form front & lapels w/ shaped floral decoration in woven gold lame’, silk & lame’ spiral stitched embroidered buttons, textured patent leather facing, slash pockets at W, lined in cotton, late 1840s, CH 36”, W 30”, L 18”, (light stains up to 0.5”, discoloration, minor tarnish) very good.
