Cream silk faille strapless evening dress, fitted & boned bodice w/ notched CF B, applied back W band into flat CF bow, full skirt w/ pleated floating panels over Hs to cross at CF, slight high low hemline, includes original petticoat, c. 1953, label “Irene Dana Paris 6, Rue Chambiges Paris”, B 32”, W 24”, L 48”, petticoat W 25”, L 38”, (discoloration, sm light stains, zipper slightly sticky, minor closure wear, petticoat w/ few sm holes) good. t/w 1950’s cocktail dress constructed from mid 19th C textile. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
