2-pc afternoon dress of grey silk taffeta & cafe au lait silk satin, embroidered appliques w/ metallic thread, iridescent & garnet beads & copper threads, black chantilly lace, c. 1885, good-trim fair; 2-pc day dress purple cisele velvet on red satin ground w/ khaki green silk satin sleeves & brown silk satin skirt & ruffles, extended bodice w/ CF filigree ball button closure, bustled skirt w/ applied hem ruffle, originally c. 1878 w/ sleeve updated in 1890s, fair.
