Couched metallic gold ground w/ embroidered figures & scenes in shades of beige, brown, taupe & sage w/ touches of indigo, Chinese iconography, lilac silk lining, Slv-Slv 56", L 60", (embroidery losses, some gold threads loose, lining faded) very good. This kosode was likely a type of Noh robe specially commissioned for a particular Chinese character.
