Dusty rose, black & cream plaid silk day dress w/ black silk taffeta trim to armscye, cuffs & in geometric pattern on 2-pc military sleeve w/ soutache discs, suspended silk covered drops, black glass & jet beads, black Chantilly & mm cream lace at neck opening, CF embroidered thread button closure, gored skirt w/ triple box pleat concealing deep pocket & opening, label "The Slater Memorial Museum, Norwich Connecticut", B 43", W 30.5", L 58.5"-73", (bodice altered to make larger, light discoloration esp at hem, 1 bauble right sleeve missing, 1.5" seam opening right sleeve & 2.5" left, scattered tiny-0.25" holes, 2 buttons replaced, 1.25" & 1.75" repairs near left SS) good.
