Hide bag w/ bead decorated in white, red, blue, green, yellow & mustard, porcupine quill wrapped hide strips in red & yellow, 6" hide fringe, one side decorated w/ stylized tepee & apotropaic heads beneath arrow forms, the other w/ notched rectangles &diamond, each side w/ 3 8-pointed stars, sewn label, "Tobacco Bag, Capt. Sham...Cayuse Indians, Pendelton Oregon", 30" x 7" (2 hide strips detached at top, 1 partially restored w/ yarn, very minor bead loss to side) ex collection Bruce Ruddick, good.
