Our November 2012 Historic Fashion & Textile Sale was a great one with fashion from the legendary Brooklyn Museum Historic Costume Collection, Georgian & Victorian jewelry sold for the benefit of the Costume Collection of the Museum of the City of New York, a large costume collection from the Strong Museum, treasures from the Smith College collection, quilts from a major institutional collection, beaded and sequined evening gowns worn by RKO starlet Bonnie Blair along with additions from many other institutions, estates and private collections.
